How we collect your data:
The main way we collect data is through data requests made directly to you or your HR department through questionnaires and requests for relevant supporting information.
Data we collect:
We may collect personal information and sensitive data. Personal information relates to information to identify you e.g. name, address, date of birth, passport information email and telephone numbers.
Sensitive data is more personal in nature that we may be required to collect in order to provide the required services. This could be for example marital status, salary information, information on family members including your spouse/partner and children under the age of 18.
How we use your data:
We only use the data we collect about you in enabling us to deliver the agreed services to you and your employer.
Who we share your data with:
We only share relevant personal information with entities as required in order to provide our relocation services to you. Typically, this include sharing information with:
Official authorities – Norwegian official authorities, embassies and international authorities (in carrying our immigration services).
Third party service providers – rental agents/private landlords/utility companies (in providing home search services), admission officers at schools and kindergartens (in providing school search services) and banks and other financial institutions ( in providing settling in services).
How we store your data:
All data is held securely in our specialized relocation software portal. This ensures that up to date anti-virus, anti-spyware scanning, firewall and intrusion detection software is used to protect your personal information and that your information is hosted under ISO 27001 certification and GDPR compliance.
How long we keep your data:
We keep your data only as long as is required in order to carry out the agreed relocation services to you. Data is reviewed periodically, and data no longer required is deleted/destroyed. Particular care is taken to ensure sensitive data is deleted immediately after its purpose has been fulfilled.
Your data protection rights:
The right to access – you have the right to request Pytheas AS for copies of your personal data.
The right to rectification – you have the right to request Pytheas AS to correct any information you believe to be inaccurate. You also have the right to request Pytheas AS to complete any information you believe is incomplete.
The right to data portability – you have the right to request Pytheas AS transfer data that we have collected about you to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
The right to withdraw consent – you have the right to request Pytheas AS delete all personal information we hold about you, under certain conditions.
Transfer of data outside the EEA:
We do not store or transfer data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). If this changes we will seek assurances, from any third party we transfer data to, that data is safeguarded adequately and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the standards outlined by the European Commission.
